Brendan Allen's next fight: the main event
Brendan Allen's next fight is this one, his first since he beat Edmen Shahbazyan on a unanimous decision in June. Before that he outpointed Marvin Vettori in July 2025 and stopped Reinier de Ridder at the end of the fourth round in October 2025. Allen is 30, is listed by the UFC as being from Beaufort in the United States, and trains at Kill Cliff FC. His first UFC fight was in October 2019.
Duncan is 31, and the UFC lists the United Kingdom as his hometown. He made his UFC debut in March 2023 and has won his last three: a second-round stoppage of Marco Tulio in November 2025, then decisions over Roman Dolidze in March and Jared Cannonier in July. As the main event, the fight is scheduled for five rounds.
The UFC's athlete pages give these figures for the two men. The finish rate is worked out from them: wins by knockout or submission, divided by all wins.
| Allen | Duncan | |
|---|---|---|
| Record | 27-7 | 15-2 |
| Age | 30 | 31 |
| Height | 74 in | 74 in |
| Reach | 75 in | 79 in |
| Wins by KO/TKO | 6 | 10 |
| Wins by submission | 14 | 1 |
| Wins by decision | 7 | 4 |
| Finish rate | 74% | 73% |
| Significant strikes landed per minute | 3.75 | 4.45 |
| Significant strikes absorbed per minute | 3.78 | 2.36 |
| Striking accuracy | 52% | 58% |
| First-round finishes | 11 | 5 |
| Professional since | 2015 | 2020 |
The two finish rates are almost the same, but the finishes come in different ways. Just over half of Allen's wins are submissions, while two thirds of Duncan's are knockouts. They are the same height, and Duncan has four inches more reach. On the UFC's striking numbers, Duncan lands more significant strikes per minute and takes fewer.
Allen has more experience: he turned professional five years earlier and has had 34 fights to Duncan's 17. He also has 11 first-round finishes to Duncan's 5. The two men aim at different places: about a third of Duncan's significant strikes in the UFC have landed on the legs (158 of 469), against 14% for Allen (116 of 848), who lands two thirds of his to the head.
Records further down the card
The co-main event at lightweight puts a 38-year-old against a 25-year-old. Jai Herbert (14-6-1), from Wolverhampton in England, has won his last three, the latest a first-round stoppage of Mandel Nallo in April. Matheus Camilo (11-3), from Rio Branco in Brazil, lost his UFC debut to Gabe Green in May 2025 and has won twice since, most recently by stopping Nazim Sadykhov in the first round in June.
Elsewhere on the main card, ESPN's records have Godinez at 14-6 and Souza at 17-6, and Fili at 25-14 and Kamaka at 18-8-1. Wellmaker and Tanzilovi go in with exactly the same record, 10-2.
On the prelims, Gerald Meerschaert has had more professional fights than anyone else on the card: 59, with a 37-22 record. RJ Harris, at 6-0, is the only unbeaten fighter of the 24, and he meets Allen Frye Jr. (6-1) in the night's only heavyweight fight.
The 12 fights cover ten weight classes. Lightweight and light heavyweight have two fights each, and three of the 12 are women's bouts, one of them on the main card.
How long the night can run
Eleven of the 12 fights are scheduled for three five-minute rounds, and the main event for five. If every fight went the distance, that would be 190 minutes of fighting: 105 on the prelims and 85 on the main card. The prelims have a three-hour window before the main card starts, and early finishes move the later fights forward within each part. The guide to how a UFC card is built explains rounds, weight classes and timing in more detail.
