The Singapore Grand Prix 2026 schedule follows the sprint format, so the Marina Bay Street Circuit has a short race on Saturday as well as the Grand Prix on Sunday. It is round 17 of 23. The Grand Prix starts at 12:00 UTC on Sunday, October 11, which is 20:00 in Singapore and 13:00 in the UK. ESPN's schedule data and the Jolpica F1 database give the same times for all five sessions, and they are listed below.

Singapore Grand Prix 2026 schedule by session

Singapore is eight hours ahead of UTC all year, with no daylight saving. The UK is one hour ahead of UTC until October 25.

SessionDay (UTC)UTCSingaporeUK
Practice 1Fri 9 Oct08:3016:3009:30
Sprint qualifyingFri 9 Oct12:3020:3013:30
SprintSat 10 Oct09:0017:0010:00
QualifyingSat 10 Oct13:0021:0014:00
Grand PrixSun 11 Oct12:0020:0013:00

On the F1 page each session appears at its start time on your own clock, so you only need this table to plan ahead or to check a time someone sent you. In the US, ESPN's data lists Apple TV as the broadcaster for all five sessions.

F1 Singapore start time where you are

The Grand Prix is a night race in Singapore. For Europe that makes it an early afternoon race, and for the Americas a morning one, very early on the US west coast. Here is 12:00 UTC on Sunday, October 11 in a few cities, worked out with each city's time zone rules for that date:

CityRace start
London13:00 Sunday
Paris, Berlin, Madrid14:00 Sunday
Mumbai, Delhi17:30 Sunday
Sydney23:00 Sunday
New York, Toronto08:00 Sunday
Los Angeles05:00 Sunday

So the Singapore GP start time in the UK is 13:00 on Sunday, and Saturday's qualifying is at 14:00. Sydney moved to summer time on October 4, which is why the race is as late as 23:00 there. The last three Singapore races each took less than 1 hour 47 minutes, so if this one runs to a similar length it will be over before 15:00 in the UK.

How the sprint weekend runs

The Singapore Grand Prix 2026 sprint is the last sprint of the year. Jolpica's calendar has six sprint rounds this season: China, Miami, Canada, Britain, the Netherlands and Singapore. Teams get a single practice session on Friday afternoon local time, and sprint qualifying follows in the evening. Saturday has the sprint at 17:00 local time and qualifying for the Grand Prix at 21:00.

The sprint covers around 100 km, about a third of Sunday's distance. Points go to the top eight, from 8 for the winner down to 1 for eighth, and the result has no effect on the Grand Prix grid. The post on the 2026 race weekend formats compares sprint and standard weekends in more detail.

The Marina Bay Street Circuit in numbers

Formula 1's circuit data gives the Marina Bay Street Circuit a lap of 4.927 km. The Grand Prix runs over 62 laps, a race distance of 305.337 km, and the fastest race lap Formula 1 lists is 1:33.808, by Lewis Hamilton in 2025. The cover photo shows the track lit up at night during the 2012 race, with the crowd on the Padang, the two domes of the Esplanade and Marina Bay Sands across the water.

Jolpica has results for 16 Singapore Grands Prix, from the first in 2008, with no race in 2020 or 2021. Counting through them:

Six drivers in this season's standings have won here before: Hamilton four times, Fernando Alonso twice (2008 and 2010), and Sergio Pérez, Carlos Sainz, Lando Norris and George Russell once each. Between them they hold 10 of the 16 wins. Norris in 2024 and Sainz in 2023 also won from pole, so the last three Singapore races were all won from the front of the grid. With that record, Saturday's qualifying session at 13:00 UTC is worth watching almost as closely as the race.

The championship before Singapore

After 16 rounds, Andrea Kimi Antonelli leads the drivers' championship for Mercedes with 320 points and eight wins. His teammate George Russell is second on 236, ahead of Lewis Hamilton (214), Charles Leclerc (191), and Lando Norris and Max Verstappen on 188 each.

An 84-point lead is big, but it cannot decide the title this weekend. Seven Grands Prix are left including Singapore, plus this one sprint, so a driver can still score 183 points (7 × 25 + 8). If Antonelli took the full 33 in Singapore and Russell scored nothing, the lead would be 117 with 150 points still available over the last six races. In the constructors' table Mercedes have 556 points to Ferrari's 405.

F1 streams for Singapore on Methstreams

The F1 streams for Singapore are listed on the F1 page, where the practice, sprint and race rows each show their start time on your clock. The home page has the weekend next to the other sports. That helps on Sunday, October 11, when the Grand Prix starts 90 minutes before the NFL's London game.

After Singapore there is a weekend off. The next round is the United States Grand Prix in Austin, with the race at 20:00 UTC on Sunday, October 25. The UK changes its clocks that morning, so the Austin race starts at 20:00 UK time as well.
